  I would recommend to shop around and go someplace else. You will probably save a lot of money... I visited this location on Friday, January 27th. This was the only day I could get this done and I was in a hurry because I had a funeral to attend later that day ( I did not share that with him). The tax preparer offered to let my son watch cartoons and he attempted have small talk, but that was the end of the positive notes of my experience there. I was charged $411 for ONLY filing my federal tax return ( I refused to have my state and local taxes filed by him). I will add he had to fill out other forms besides the standard 1040-EZ, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary; I wasn't itemizing my return, I didn't have a 1099 income statement, etc. The amount for my return was literally half of what I received last year. After I left the office and I went online; I was happy to see I can still amend my federal taxes after The IRS accepts them. According to the estimate from Turbo Tax, my tax return would have been almost what I received last year. On top of the cost and lower tax return, he kept trying to talk about his political views, I felt uncomfortable with the conversation and tried changing the topic several times. He finally stopped, but then began to talk about some of his clients negatively. The only reason why I stayed was because they offered the tax return advance; I learned afterwards most places offer this service. I considered this to be a learning experience that I will not repeat. I definitely should have done my research before I went to this place... After further review of my paperwork, he also included earnings from 2015 with the earnings for 2016 and I do not have a copy of my 1040. Recommend going somewhere else for your tax preparation.
